Alicia Photography has been one of the best-loved photography studios in Western Pennsylvania for nearly 25 years. The studio is known for the artistic creativity, experience, professionalism, originality and attention to detail of its two photographers, Alicia Dal Lago and Geoff Crowe
Both, Alicia and Geoff are Certified Professional Photographers. They are among the less than 3% of all imaging professionals who have successfully completed the comprehensive requirements of the Professional Photographers of America to obtain and maintain this Certification.
About Alicia
Alicia Dal Lago has operated one of the best-loved portrait studios in western Pennsylvania for nearly 25 years. She is known for her engaging portraiture and personality as well as her professionalism and compassion.
Famous for her ability to capture the personality of her subjects, especially children, Alicia Dal Lago has won many awards and honors from her professional peers. She studied photography under several Master Photographers and holds the degrees of Master Photographer and Photographic Craftsman. Alicia is also one of the very few photographers in the U.S.A. that has completed the requirements to receive accreditation from Special Kids Photography of America.
Through the years Alicia's images have been on display in Epcot Center and the Cleveland Museum of Art. She has been commissioned by the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, UPMC Passavant and UPMC Shadyside Hospitals. Her work is featured regularly on the covers of Pittsburgh Parent and North Hills Monthly magazines.
A prominent member of the North Hills Community, Alicia's personal philosophy is to give back to the community with numerous fund-raising and philanthropic efforts through the art of photography. Her individual photographic fundraising efforts alone have resulted in donations of over $100,000 to local causes.
Alicia has been a member of the Board of Directors of North Hills Community Outreach, The Northern Allegheny Chamber of Commerce and Zonta. Having served as Secretary of the Executive Committee, she is now Board President of Crisis Center North
For her involvement in the community, Alicia has received several accolades : She is an Athena Award recipient, was recognized as one of Pennsylvania's 50 Top Business Women and received a Congratulatory Citation from the Pennsylvania Senate.
Other distinctions include Crisis Center North's Northern Star Award, Status of Women Award from Zonta International, being recognized as an outstanding woman by the American Association of University Women, being named Citizen of the Year by the McKnight Journal. Alicia was featured in Seton Hill University E-Magnify "Entrepreneur's Corner" and twice her community work was the object of North Hills Monthly Magazine's Cover Story.
About Geoff
Geoff Crowe has been part of Alicia Photography for the last 15 years. He is the studio's wedding, sports, commercial and public relations photographer.
Geoff earned a degree from the Ohio Institute of Photography and has studied under many of the top wedding photographers in the country. With over 20 years of experience photographing weddings, his style combines the photojournalistic approach with the best in wedding portraiture. His experience, photographic knowledge, technical ability and artistic eye allow him to capture all the emotions of that special day.
He applies the same skills and care to sports, commercial and public relations photography.
